How to apply
Thank you for your interest in The Housing Authority of the Town of Bethel.
Applications will be available for waitlist for site-based elderly and disabled waiting list for Low Income property E 133 (Units 1-41) AND Affordable income property No. E 166 (Units 42-82). Applicants may apply to one or both properties. Each property has its own waitlist.
Reynolds Ridge will be accepting applications January 10, 2025 at 10:00 am through January 24, 2025 at 6:00pm
The BHA accepts Applications for elderly heads of household aged 62+ and persons 18+ who are disabled. Occupancy is limited to a maximum of two persons per unit. Income limit is 80% or less than the area median income.
Reynolds Ridge E133 & E166 has studios and 1-bedroom apartments for those 62 and older and disabled 18 and older, they are located off Whittlesey Drive, Bethel CT.
The property has a strict NO smoking policy. Pets are allowed with restrictions.
Rents are based on adjusted income and residents are recertified on an annual basis.

Application will require but not limited to the following information; value and account numbers for ALL income and assets including bank accounts, IRA, 401K, stocks, bonds and life insurance. Medical Insurance Premiums, outstanding medical bills. Landlord contact information.
Incomplete applications will be returned.
NOTE: The BHA reserves the right to limit the number of pre applications it accepts when it cannot reasonably accommodate applicants within 24-months. The actual wait time could be longer. There will be no formal notice given if any portion closes and applications will be returned.
Applications will be rejected if a family does not meet the income, property eligibility requirements or if the application is not completed in its entirety with all the required attachments. One application per family or household will be accepted. Minorities and those least likely to apply are encouraged to apply. BHA does not discrimination the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, age, and handicap.
